Clinton Presbyterian Church

Our fall rummage sale was another success bringing in $1700.00 for Presbyterian Women to use for various missions we serve.  From the three days of  setup to the actual sale and cleanup, it involved five days of fun, fellowship, running into old friends, lots of laughs, good eats in the kitchen, and of course, the work of sorting clothing, toys, books, games, linens, shoes, kitchen items and special boutique items.

We had plenty to sell and plenty to give away to our friends at the Goodwill Rescue Mission in Newark, the Trenton Rescue Mission, our Boy Scouts, as well as friends in Appalachia and Maine.

Thank you to all of you who helped in any way!  And special thanks to Sharon Bittenmaster, Barbara Plundeke, and Jeri Twigg who ran the set up/sale and got us all organized!

Can I help with the sale and clean up ?  Yes!

Come help set up for a couple of hours or the whole day and help organize clothes and house wares. It's a great way to make friends with other committed Christians and shop for your family. Anyone who helps with the sale may purchase (at our rock bottom prices) any items their family can use. There are plenty of clothes for the sale and for mission. Come at 8:30 am on Friday or 7:30 am on Saturday to price clothes, fold clothes and answer questions during the sale. Please come at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, prepared to fold clothes. We especially need men and strong teens to help on Saturday after 1:00 p.m. to carry tables back to the basement.

Profits from the sale are used for mission projects or projects within the church. The executive board of Presbyterian Women designates the use of money. For questions or more information contact Jeri Twigg at ' 735-4182, Sharon Bittenmaster ' 735-0440 or Barbara Plundeke ' 735-6523.
